Tyndale Seminary is offering a study tour on Celtic Spirituality to Ireland and Scotland lead by Dr. David Sherbino, Professor of Pastoral Ministries and Spiritual Formation and Minister of Cornerstone Community Church (PCC). This tour will provide an overview of the mission and ministry of St. Patrick as we trace his footsteps throughout Ireland and the influence of St. Columba as he brought Christianity to the tiny island of Iona. From this island, Christianity spread to Lindisfarne which today is a centre of spiritual renewal through the community of St Aiden and St. Hilda. As an educational experience, this trip will be highly interactive: interesting lectures, pilgrimages and daily worship in the Celtic tradition. You will have the opportunity to see and experience places that previously were simply words on a map. These places will come alive as history unfolds itself before your eyes. This study tour is for those who have an interest in learning about the spread of Christianity to Ireland and Scotland and the influence of St. Patrick and St. Columba. This trip will also feature a day long pilgrimage on the island of Iona.
